Terms of Use

The Quizpie website located at https://quizpie.com (the “Site”) is operated by Quizpie (“we”, “us”, “Company”). These Terms of Use (“Terms”) describe the legally binding terms that govern your use of the Site.

BY ACCESSING, REGISTERING ON, OR USING THE SITE, YOU AGREE TO THESE TERMS. YOU MUST BE AT LEAST 13 YEARS OLD (OR THE MINIMUM AGE OF DIGITAL CONSENT IN YOUR JURISDICTION) TO USE THE SITE. IF YOU DO NOT AGREE, DO NOT USE THE SITE.

1. Accounts

You may register for an account using email or third-party sign-in (Google). You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and for all activity under your account. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

2. License to Use the Site

We grant you a non-transferable, non-exclusive, revocable, limited license to access and use the Site for personal, non-commercial use. You may not (a) sell, rent, lease, sublicense, or commercially exploit the Site; (b) reverse engineer or build derivative works; (c) scrape or bulk-extract content; (d) use the Site to build a competing product.

We reserve the right to change, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Site at any time, with or without notice.

3. User-Generated Content

The Site lets you create and publish quizzes and other content (“User Content”). You retain all ownership of your User Content.

License you grant us. By submitting User Content, you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, sublicensable, transferable license to host, store, reproduce, adapt (including translation and resizing for thumbnails or social previews), publish, publicly display, and distribute that User Content on and in connection with the Site and our marketing of the Site (including social channels such as Pinterest). This license lasts for as long as you keep the User Content on the Site, plus a reasonable wind-down period after deletion to remove copies from caches and backups.

Your representations. You represent and warrant that (a) you own or have all necessary rights to the User Content, (b) it does not infringe any third party's intellectual property, privacy, or other rights, and (c) it complies with these Terms and applicable law.

Moderation. User Content may be reviewed by us before or after publication. We may, at our sole discretion and without notice, remove, hide, edit, or refuse to publish any User Content for any reason or no reason, including suspected violation of these Terms.

4. Code of Conduct — Prohibited Content

You agree not to upload, create, share, or link to content that:

• infringes any copyright, trademark, trade secret, or other intellectual property right;
• is unlawful, defamatory, threatening, harassing, hateful, or discriminatory;
• incites violence, self-harm, or illegal activity;
• is sexually explicit, exploits minors, or depicts non-consensual sexual content;
• contains personal data of a third party without their consent (doxxing);
• contains malware, phishing links, or attempts to compromise the Site or its users;
• is spam, scraped from another site without permission, or designed primarily to drive off-site traffic.

Violations may result in immediate removal of the offending content and termination of your account, without refund of any paid features.

5. Reporting and Takedown (DMCA)

We comply with the U.S. Digital Millennium Copyright Act and equivalent laws elsewhere. If you believe content on the Site infringes your copyright, send a notice to admin@quizpie.com that includes:

• your physical or electronic signature;
• identification of the copyrighted work claimed to be infringed;
• identification of the URL on the Site where the infringing material is located;
• your contact information;
• a statement that you have a good-faith belief the use is not authorized;
• a statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information is accurate and you are authorized to act on behalf of the rights holder.

You can also report any other Terms violation through the in-app “Report” button on a quiz, or by emailing the address above. Repeat infringers will have their accounts terminated.

6. AI-Generated Content

Some images on the Site (for example, Pinterest pin images for spinning wheels) are generated by third-party AI models on demand. AI-generated content is provided “as is.” The legal status of copyright in AI-generated images is unsettled in many jurisdictions; we make no representation that you obtain copyright ownership of, or any other exclusive rights in, AI-generated images. You agree not to claim AI-generated images produced via the Site as your own original artwork in contexts where that misrepresentation matters (e.g., for entry into copyright-restricted contests).

When you trigger an AI image generation, the inputs you provide (text descriptions and any uploaded reference images, including a screenshot of your wheel) will be sent to our third-party AI provider for processing. See our Privacy Policy for details.

7. Third-Party Links and Ads

The Site may contain links to third-party websites (including Pinterest share endpoints) and may display third-party advertisements. We do not control, endorse, or accept responsibility for third-party services. Use them at your own risk and review their terms and privacy policies.

8. Cookies

Quizpie uses cookies and similar technologies to keep you signed in, remember preferences, measure usage, and (where ads are enabled) personalize advertising. Third-party ad networks, including Google, may set their own cookies; you can opt out of personalized advertising at Google's ad settings.

9. Termination

You may delete your account at any time from your profile settings. We may suspend or terminate your access for violation of these Terms, prolonged inactivity, legal compliance, or any reason at our discretion. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (e.g., the license you granted us in §3, disclaimers, limitations of liability, and the indemnity in §12) will survive.

10. Disclaimers

The Site, including all User Content and AI-generated content, is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Site will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, in no event shall Company or its suppliers be liable for any lost profits, lost data, loss of goodwill, or any indirect, consequential, incidental, special, exemplary, or punitive damages arising from or relating to these Terms or your use of the Site, even if advised of the possibility of such damages. Our total aggregate liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim, or USD $50, whichever is greater.

12. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold us, our affiliates, officers, employees, and agents harmless from any claim, demand, loss, liability, or expense (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of (a) your User Content, (b) your use of the Site, (c) your violation of these Terms, or (d) your violation of any third-party right, including intellectual property or privacy rights.

13. Changes to These Terms

We may revise these Terms from time to time. If changes are material, we will give reasonable notice (e.g., by email to your account address or by a prominent notice on the Site). Your continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

14. General

Privacy. Please read our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these Terms.

Severability. If any provision of these Terms is held unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.
